The UK Blues Awards Acoustic Blues Artist of the Year, 2021, (he’ll be representing the United Kingdom at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis this May 6th-9th 2022) the Northern Irish blues guitarist DOM MARTIN is to release a new single, titled “12 Gauge” this January 28th, taken from his forthcoming album, “A Savage Life” due April 8th.
Produced by Grammy Nominated Chris O’Brien (The High Kings, Waterboys) “A Savage Life” was recorded in Belfast and Dublin during the second half of 2021. The album features songs arranged by Dom (guitar and vocals), with accompanists Dave Thompson (bass guitar) and Laurence McKeown (drums).
