Nashville Indie Folk/Rock artist Liza Anne’s new video for “Lost” has been released.  The song has been taken from her TWO album — her second release — which we review here.

Georgia native (now Tennessee) Liza Anne [Liza Odachowski] specializes in haunting and introspective numbers.

Her first album [The Colder Months] issued in February 2014 was applauded by fans and critics across the globe.

We had a listen to second album titled (uninventively) TWO :

Lost’ has golden strings of acoustic guitar… treacling like honey-spoon drips… and swaying like wheatsheafs in a cool breeze.

Shimmers of light cycle through the spaces. The moon-shy voice is frosty and painful — like hollowed out icicles. Dangerously spiked, coldly efficient.

Northern Wind’ is just as cold and gloomy, with regular rhythm guitar twangs that elongate and pry around the main rhythms…

The toe-tap pace goes well with the the petals of voice that slip and glide so easily — like rosy segments wafting softly.

Take It Back’ is the great success of this album. The ideas here are aware and plentiful, the melody takes you in and moves you. And the voice is remarkably clean and expressive.

On the surface, this is happiness-tinged pop, but the songs cleverly hide their ice-cream hearts — the songs are so deliciously cold you will not be able to stop yourself having a little more…
