Their new song Piggyback Ride (which you can watch in the video below) is being promoted with an extensive schedule of live concerts that will support their upcoming “Birthday Album” —so-called because it honours the lead singer’s pregnancy and subsequent adventure into motherhood.
The upbeat song starts out with a great thumping riff and builds throughout a laddering verse towards a sun-blessed, sugarplum-sundancing chorus that has all the flippy-floppy romanticism you’d expect from this band. A masterwork of flexible, heartfelt hipdom!
