The fourth advanced track to be released from the GLEN CAMPBELL Duets — Ghost on the Canvas Sessions project — which is set for release on April 19th 2024, has been shared by Big Machine Records and Surfdog Records.
HOPE SANDOVAL— the lead vocalist of the renowned Alt Rock band MAZZY STAR— contributes her vocals to the moving song “The Long Walk Home,” written by Campbell & Julian Raymond about the musician’s battle with Alzheimer’s and coming to terms with his own death.
“It’s been a great honor to have been invited to sing with Glen on this stunning song, ‘The Long Walk Home,” explained Sandoval.
“His voice is captivatingly beautiful. He is by far one of the best Country music artists and vocalists of all time.”
GLEN CAMPBELL – Ghost on the Canvas Sessions, an incredible tribute to Glen, who passed away nearly seven years ago, brings together longtime friends, collaborators, and admirers of Campbell, to honour his lasting impact on music.
