Positioning astride psych-funkafied hop and freestyle electro scaterrings while embracing the qualities of R & B the Los Angeles singer MIGUEL’s third album WILDHEART was rightly included in the list of the best albums of 2015.
But be aware, this experimental album does not flow as beautifully as Kaleidoscope, nor is it over-finished ‘n’ highly-polished into the lustrous and dreamy-sophisticated product we have come to expect …
No, but if you are looking for a strong dose of ground-breaking rock with a funky edge and wild flavors, reminding you perhaps of Prince or Lenny Kravitz… Then look no more.
Of course, the album is explicit (it’s gonna be) and it is über-cool…
But ot is extremely successful too …
