The award-winning American singer-songwriter and guitarist ARIELLE will release her newest studio album titled ‘73 on Friday 20 April 2023.
The new CD is a declaration of love and an homage to Arielle’s beloved 1973 Volkswagen Bay Window Bus, named Magick, and a celebration of its fifty years of existence.
Arielle’s latest studio album, which combines classic rock, 1960s lyrics, magical wanderlust, and a whole barrowload of The Who-inspired guitar, is sure to impress. The lead single from the album has been released (see the video, shared below) and it’s a wowser!

“I bought my bus because every time I step into it, I feel like it’s a time machine,” explains Arielle.
“Every time I step in, it takes me back to ’73.”
The first single and title track ‘73, is a feastful thumper of bestretched longsleeved string-clawing, with a scritching ‘n’ scuffing boogie-style riff, and bronzy-bright vocals. Plus, the chorus is a grinsome celebrational gambol. In other words, it’s a rip-roaring trip into hip Seventies nostalgia.
The new album features the musician’s brand-new cherry red BMG Arielle guitar (shown above) from Brian May Guitars which she says is ‘Irresistible…’ and it ‘sings like a bird…’ The first quantity of the BMG Arielle guitars sold out in ninety minutes. Due to popular demand, for the very first time, the BMG Arielle will be available in limited edition solid cherry red colour.
