2021 saw German power metal act IRON SAVIOR celebrate the 10th anniversary of one of their most successful records to date, The Landing.
The band formed in Hamburg in 1996.
The Landing was their seventh full-length album. Filled with haunting melodies and giant hammers of power, it radiated atmosphere.
The outfit has now released another resplendent and powerfully nostalgic blaster — a re-recorded version of ‘The Battle.’ The song was originally issued on the band’s second studio album, of 1999, titled Unification; this was the only album recorded with drummer Dan Zimmermann.
Fans will know that the Rebellion guitarist Uwe Lulis played a solo on the original ‘Battle‘ track.
The epic-metal veterans are gearing up for a new reforging, titled “Reforged II – Ironbound” due later in 2022 via AFM Records.
In March, they shared a new lyric video for their classic “Heavy Metal Never Dies” which you can check-out on the video below.
