English (Glastonbury) rock funk-boppers REEF have been feelin’ good and replenishing the rhythm-groovy hearts of the British public since the early 1990s.
Founders Gary Stringer (vocals) and Jack Bessant (bass) are joined by Jesse Wood on guitar (who replaced the original guitarist Kenwyn House in 2014. Kenwyn went off the start Goldray.) The band also sport a reliable list of touring musicians that include (among others) guitarist Andy Taylor who has also acted as the producer for the band’s recent recordings.
Now Reef releas a new double A-side single titled Wolfman / Right On (shared below.)
a fully-fledged rock masterpiece, biopropelled by a supercharged engine equipped with a gasoline heart…

The new song is taken from their keenly hoped-for psyched ‘n’ fantabulous studio album Shoot Me Your Ace, due for release April 15 2022
About the album, Taylor says, “I’ve been looking to make a record like this for a long time. I can’t love it enough. The chances you get in life to do something as great as this album don’t come along very often, so when they do you just grab them.”
Bessant adds: “The universe has put all the pieces into place for us. This line-up […] is just one big ball of energy that we managed to bottle. It feels like the start of a new chapter for us – Reef Mk II.”
Wolfman is a heavy duty britannia-metal max-charge hitter with the kind of flamethrower musicianship you’d expect from Razors Edge era AC/DC but with the optimized guitar clout of Dehumanizer era Sabbath and the melodic efficiency of Razamanaz era Nazareth. In short, it’s a fully-fledged rock masterpiece, biopropelled by a supercharged engine, and equipped with a gasoline heart. Monumental!
The album “Shoot Me Your Ace” will be released on a variety of formats including CD, black vinyl, coloured vinyl, cassette and digital. Pre-order the album, along with brand new Shoot Me Your Ace merchandise here: https://reef.tmstor.es/
