The Las Vegas Nevada post-hardcore rock band ESCAPE THE FATE have released a new song titled “Not My Problem that features Travis Barker on drums, and is taken from the upcoming album “Chemical Warfare” due April 16.

The collab with the producer, songwriter, and drummer Barker came via the band’s producer John Feldmann who introduced Barker and asked him to provide the energizing beat of the song.

The new single follows successes with “Invincible” and “Walk On.”

Not My problem with Travis Barker

Not My Problem” is an ode to self-preservation. With lyrics about not taking on the problems of others, the track fits in perfectly with the positive tone of Chemical Warfare. The album’s uplifting atmosphere speaks directly to the needs of the band’s young fans. The work with Barker was so good that he and EtF guitarist (and co-producer)  Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft are now working on several high-profile projects together.

ESCAPE THE FATE is synonymous with heavy, hook-based, post-hardcore rock and for unflagging, genre-restructuring soundtracks that seem predicated for a broad-based audience. With the forthcoming album Chemical Warfare out April 16, it seems the band has assembled some of their best music to date.

Chemical Warfare offers a veritable storehouse of propellant hits along with melodic ballads, that (there’sno doubt) will be seen to be among the best in the hard rock world.

It’s good time rambunctious rock, packed with deep meaning.
