Super-essential British rhythm rockers VOODOO SIX will release a spectacular new studio album entitled “Simulation Game” on Friday 16th October.

The band signed a deal with Explorer1 — a Hollywood-based full-service music company — as the band, formed in 2003 with bassist Tony Newton & guitarist Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest since 2011) prepare to take their rock ‘n’ roll inventory way beyond the confines of Europe.

Simulation Game
Gone Forever evokes a powerful feeling of liberating destiny…

Showcasing the unsurpassed talent of vocalist/frontman Nik Taylor-Stoakes — who has been in service since “Make Way for the King” — “Simulation Game” features ten tracks produced and mixed by Tony Newton (Iron Maiden, British Lion) and mastered by Ade Emsley (Iron Maiden, Steve Harris).

Iron Maiden founder and bassist Steve Harris commented, “I’ve been keeping an eye on Voodoo Six for a while now and they’ve produced a cracking new album with real promise. It’s great to support true British up-and-coming talent.” The new album was recorded and mixed at his Barnyard Studios.

The first single from the album “Gone Forever” has been released on all platforms and the video (shared below) is available now.

We had a listen —

There’s a rhythmic contrapuntal razz to the incantatory euphony that suggests a glum sense of gloomy defeatism that will continue unless groupthink abruptly changes to overthrow this idiocy of our time.

So, understandably, the vocal intonations on “Gone Forever” are sullen, the guitars are taciturn, and the orchestration is scowling. But this is not all glumness. In fact, the number is so super-regal and statuesque that it evokes powerful feeling of fulfilling a liberating destiny that’s been long owed…
