The gifted South Carolina-born, East Nashville-based, young fireball-guitarist, vocalist and talented songwriter HANNAH WICKLUND — who formed her band The Steppin’ Stones when she was just eight years old — will release a very special 10” inch vinyl EP “The Inbetween” on Friday 17th April 2020.

The collection comprises of four stripped back solo performances. The release is available for pre-order at: https://shop.hannahwicklund.com

Songs taken from her self-titled release...

For the EP, Wicklund decided to take four songs from her self-titled 2018 release, “Bomb Through the Breeze”, “Ghost”, “Meet You Again” and “Shadowboxes and Porcelain Faces” and strip them down to their rawest form.

Piano was my first instrument,” says Hannah. “But I pretty much stopped playing when I picked up the guitar and traded in classical music for rock n roll,...”

My classical roots are undeniable, however, as I get older, I appreciate them more and more.

No one has heard Hannah Wicklund this way — known for her blazing riffs, bounteous voice, and rock ‘n’ roll persona, her 2018 self-titled album proved that rock is not dead. But here on the “The Inbetween” she demonstrates she is more than a mere rock singer in a rock ‘n’ roll band… What is evident from these four songs is that Hannah is an amazingly poignant and evocative vocalist and a talented music-maker.

On “The Inbetween” and against her own graceful, thimbleberry piano notes, her voice ranges from lissom flutterings to rushing passions in just a tear-jerk. These songs are full of divine grandeur and poetic expressiveness.
