The first solo album from the Fates Warning’s lead vocalist RAY ALDER has been announced by his new label, InsideOutMusic.

The new disc is titled “What The Water Wants” and includes ten masterfully melodious songs that have been created with the assistance of musician-friends, including: guitarists Mike Abdow (Fates Warning touring member) and Tony Hernando (Lords Of Black) and with drummer Craig Anderson (Ignite, Crescent Shield).
The album was mixed by Simone Mularoni (Rhapsody, Michael Romeo, DGM) and will be released worldwide on October 18th 2019.
A taster video, for the title track, has been released today [see below]. We had a listen:
Set amidst a tortuosity of contorted notes the vocal has sufficiently potent physical entity to develop a delving groove that brings about true emotion. This song [alone] is enough to prove that Alder is one of the more proficient prog/metal vocalists of a generation… so we can’t wait to hear the rest of the album!
