GIN ANNIE are a hard melodic rock 5-piece from Wolverhampton, England. They are based around the nucleus of cousins, Dave Foster (vocals) and Byron Garbett (guitars) with Brian Green (guitar) Phill “Hammer” Burrows (bass) and Jack Ryland-Smith (drums.)
They are last years HRH Highway to Hell winners and this week release their debut album “100% Proof” via Off Yer Rocka.
Byron Garbett explained: “A lot of heavy riffs and heavy nights went into the writing and recording of this and we can’t wait for folks to get their ears around it. It’s just 5 guys from the Black Country making a racket but one we hope many will enjoy.”
The band play their Album Launch Show at The Slade Rooms, WOLVERHAMPTON on Saturday January 26th.
“Chains” taken from the album is a slice of cool sonic awesomeness, with cogitating vocals, a deliberately unrushed pace and a gradually building sense of buzzing excitement.
