Following the release of their debut studio album High Water I last week THE MAGPIE SALUTE — the southern-rock / blues band that features former Black Crowes members Rich Robinson, Sven Pipien and Marc Ford — will be returning to Europe for a full tour in November and December.
The band will perform 26 shows in ten different countries during the tour. UK Dates below.
Produced by Rich Robinson and recorded at Dark Horse Studios in Nashville, TN, the 12-song “High Water I” an exciting ‘n’ combustible mixture of rock ‘n’ roll, psychedelic blues and stories worthy of a cowboy’s cookout. We recently described “For The Wind” taken from the album as “ a chilled and flavourful piece of philosophical honesty…”
A second new studio album “High Water II” is also planned, and is expected in 2019.
