JOE SATRIANI — What Happens Next + G3 Dates

JOE SATRIANI became known as “the people’s favourite guitarist” for his virtuoso guitar-work that feels so natural and is played so sincerely, with organic charm

Now Satch has announced the release of their sixteenth solo album, titled “What Happens Next” due January 12, 2018 via Sony/Legacy Recordings.

It promises to be very impressive… His “Shockwave Supernova” (2015) was embellished with ideas & motifs to create an enriching and life-giving experience.

Satriani – a vigor & force rarely encountered these days…

One day before the release of the new album, SATRIANI will revive its G3 tour entity, inviting John Petrucci of Dream Theater and Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen to join him. [dates below video]

There’s a special tour pre-sale promotion for fans — providing them the opportunity to buy concert tickets with the new album as well as VIP packages. Visit https://lnk.to/WHN for more information, pre-sale opportunities and specific market pre-sale and on-sale dates.

The technically exciting new album features a legendary power-trio: SATRIANI on guitar, with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee bassist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple/Black Country Communion) and drummer Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) — the latter reuniting with SATRIANI for the first time since their supergroup project Chickenfoot.

SATRIANI has again worked with producer / engineer / mixer Mike Fraser — his regular collaborator for the last 20 years.

These new tracks stimulate the spirit with a vigor & force rarely encountered these days. From the driving opening track, “Energy”, to the impressive punch of “Thunder High On The Mountain”, and the effortless, sensual chords of “Smooth Soul” this groovy set of songs is almost an extrasensory experience.
