The Jefferson City, Missouri rockers SHAMAN’S HARVEST, founded in 1996, have announced the first single from their upcoming album ‘Red Hands Black Deeds’ — due for release on July 28th via Mascot Records.

The talented line-up boasts Nathan Hunt on lead vocals, with Josh Hamler on rhythm guitar, Matt Fisher on bass, Derrick Shipp on lead guitar and Adam Zemanek on drums.

Their Smokin’ Hearts & Broken Guns in 2014 earned the band more than 33 million streams. They’ve shared stages with AC/DC, Alice In Chains, Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Nickelback and many others.

The new single “The Come Up” positions a Motown backbeat with some classic Rolling Stones style swaggery, and turns on thoughts about depression.

There’s so much negativity on social media today… a lot of people struggling with real issues and with where we’re at as a nation,” says singer Nathan Hunt. “ Sometimes when you just can’t change shit, you got to realize you can’t mold everything in your life and you kind of just have to roll with the punches.” Hunt, overcame throat cancer in 2014.

Red Hands Black Deeds is a more subdued offering this time around, with an intuitive, layered sound. The album ranges from menacing, persistent vibes to quieter, more penetrable moments.

“The Come Up” is first official track to released from the album.
