Brooke Candy is gifted, inventive, many-sided, unstoppered
The emerging London rapper and “Opulence” artist has created a number that’s bursting with clever production, thumping great beats and multiple swirly layers of supplicated voice.
For those who preferred the percussive bullet-stones of Brookes rap this is perhaps honeyed confection. But at least it demonstrates that the girl is gifted, inventive, many-sided, unstoppered.
The song features seven time Grammy nominee SIA.
And was produced by Jesse Shatkin (of Sia’s Chandelier fame ) and written by Geoffrey Early (Ziggy Marley, Beyoncé, David Guetta) with Priscilla “Priscilla Renea” Hamilton (Rihanna) and Sia and Greg Kurstin (Adele)
It’s the first official single from Brooke’s upcoming debut album “Daddy Issues” set for release this Spring. It’s gonna be huge.
