Texas four-piece indie-rockers WHITE DENIM released their new album Stiff to critical acclaim last week (it currently sits at number 16 in the UK official midweek chart.)
The new disc sees the Austin quartet return to their frenetic rock-roots and is described by frontman James Petralli as a “high heat, high energy, good times record.”
We have already described the first single from the album as “probably, the most exciting blues-rock have you ever heard…”
WHITE DENIM have now shared their new video for the enormously fun and unceasingly appealing single “Ha Ha Ha Ha (Yeah)”. See it below.
As well as full run of UK shows, the band are also announcing their biggest headline show to date on Tuesday 11th October at London’s Roundhouse. Tour dates below —
“When we initially heard the song, we envisioned a choreographed dance...” the video’s director, Jonatán López told us.
“Around the same time, we’d been watching deleted scenes from Jackie Chan’s golden era, and somehow those deleted scenes led us to a particular one with John Travolta from Urban Cowboy. We muted the video, played the song, and thought, ‘yeah, this is it.’ Travolta was relentless. He kept trying to nail the dance take after take, and we loved that energy. So we built a video around that moment…”
